The Dilwara Temples of India are located from Mount Abu, Rajasthan's only hill station.
These Jain temples were constructed by Vimal Shah and designed by Vastupal-Tejpal, Jain laymen, between the 11th and 13th centuries AD and, are famous for their use of marble and intricate marble carvings.

It is an adventure trip to reach the top of the rock. One has to climb up to 200 stairs to climb to the top.

The literal meaning of this temple is "mouth of a cow."One needs to climb 700 steps to reach the topmost section of the temple. This temple is dedicated to Saint Vashishtha. It is said that Saint Vashishtha performed a Yagna at this place which created the major Rajput clans. The entrance of the temple has a statue of Nandi along with the idols of Rishi Vashishth, Lord Rama, and Lord Krishna placed nearby.
